Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in alignment with the IB PYP ****work.- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.- Assess and ****uate student progress using a variety of assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary units of inquiry.- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education and the IB PYP program.- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators regarding student progress and school initiatives.- Foster a love of learning and curiosity in students, promoting inquiry-based learning and critical thinking skills.- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and other required documentation. RequirementsQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).- Valid teaching certification/license.- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an IB PYP school.- Strong understanding of the IB PYP curriculum and philosophy.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and build positive relationships with students and parents.- Proficiency in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.Preferred Attributes:- Experience in teaching in an international school setting.- Knowledge of differentiated instruction and ability to meet the needs of diverse learners.- Creative and innovative teaching approaches.- Strong organisational and time-management skills.- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for teaching and learning.
