Duties & Responsibilities：-Design & develop school based programmes that are predominantly preventative & pro-active but also responsive to social, emotional & cognitive needs that impinge on student welfare & performance-Promote the mental health and emotional well-being of the students & staff in the School-Ensuring high quality education for all students-Provide ongoing support to colleague and students-Collaborate with colleagues to provide formal and informal assessments of students and make recommendations for appropriate interventions to meet the student’s needs-Accurately and appropriately use assessment procedures for determining and structuring individual or group counselling and other support services-Provide individual or group counselling and/or psychological support to students or staff with identified concerns and needs-Develop and support therapeutic and behaviour management programmes as required-Maintain accurate records of information and documentation related to students requiring academic, personal, social, emotional and mental health support-Inform key staff members about matters regarding specific children whilst maintaining confidentiality-Offer consultation, advice and support for parents who have concerns about their child-Lead regular parent support groups and workshops-Contribute to the school’s ongoing professional development and training of staff-Meet regularly with the Head of school and pastoral leadership to discuss student concerns and plan provision accordingly.Skills and Experience Required：-Bachelor’s Degree or above-Good English skills-Teaching certificate and psychology consultant qualification -Good attitude to work, sense of initiative and strong responsibility, trustworthy-A desire to help others and provide assistance-Enjoy working with children of all ages and other adults, including foreigners-Knowledge of areas of teaching, pastoral care and co-curricular activities -Experience of working with students in a school environment is desirable
