Responsibilities:
1. Develop software for turnkey machine vision system for manufacturing applications using Cognex VisionPro? machine vision software and hardware
2. Evaluate and select lighting and optics to create imaging front end
3. Integrate turnkey machine vision system with robot and automation equipment and make adjustments, troubleshoot and debug system.
4. May need to travel and work in factory environment to install and support machine vision system to make sure all machines are qualified and ready for production according to schedule.
5. May provide supervision to other team members at machine builder sites and contract manufacturer (CM) production sites.
6. Help to prepare Standard Operating Procedures for machine vision setup during overall machine setup and troubleshooting.
7. Communicate with both internal and external customer to establish good working relationship.
8. Provide daily status and progress report and attend update meetings.
9. Capable of providing rapid response and problem solving, knows when to escalate and obtain help when necessary.
10. Willing to travel according to support need. May require working in a different city/region (including Zhengzhou, Shenzhen and Shanghai areas).

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering field such as: Computer technology, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

Languages:
Chinese;
Good English reading, writing, listening and speaking skill is a plus

Professional Experience:
1. 3 or more year’s automation equipment maintenance, trouble shooting and support experience
2. Experiencing supervising a service team
3. Familiarity with computer equipment, such as MS Windows based PC is required
4. Basic electrical device hookup and operation knowledge is a must
5. Windows programming capability is preferred
6. Vision system related experience is a plus
